About Us

Boet was born in Namibia and his wife Magda was born in Cape Town. They moved to Grootfontein in1991 and started to build the stone house in 1995. The stone and the wood needed for the house was bought from a nearby mining town called Abenab. They moved into the house in 1996 with their only daughter Behati. Behati moved out of the house and move to New York to start her career in modeling. Behati is now one of the top 20 models in the world. After she moved out, the decision was made to convert the house into a bed and breakfast.

Only the outside of the house is made of stone, the inside is a contemporary finish.

As a family they like to travel over the beautiful countryside of Namibia especially when their daughter, Behati, comes home for visits.
